An Homage to The Yellow Wallpaper (World Poetry Day)

He entered the room
and heard a tap tap tap
Yellow and faded
there was a scratch scratch scratch

She once was trapped
and went round round round
Her prison of yellow
and went rip rip rip

Now she is gone
and he goes round round round
Hearing her voice
he goes rip rip rip
